In a posting Nov 21, 2001 01:47 PST on the WC-list, Dan Dugan quotes and comments ironically on a posting I sent to a not public anthroposophical mailing list, commenting on the works of PLANS - his brainchild - and its cultivation and incitement of anger in the Jewish community against anthroposophy and Waldorf education in its cultivation of a 'Protocol of Steiner mythology'. 

The cultivation of the 'Protocol of Steiner mythology' in question, except for the making up non-existing "lectures" by Steiner by one of PLANS latest supporters, Peter Staudenmaier, tries to depict Rudolf Steiner as a racist Aryan, white supremacist and proto-Nazi.

This is done, except for by the forgery by Mr Staudenmaier, by him and Mr Zegers stressing similarities in the way Blavatsky and Steiner depicts evolution and tying up the argumentation by describing the respect and admiration Steiner expressed for Blavatski on some points, while also pointing to personal peculiarities in her character on other points.

The reason for my posting to the private mailing list, illegally hijacked by Mr Dugan, was the rage developed at one American Waldorf by a Jewish parent, having read the mythologies cultivated and published by PLANS, with the parent now staging a public campaign against the school in question on the basis of it.

For the posting by Dan Dugan, see here. In the posting, Mr Dugan hints that the posting by me was anti-Semitic by twisting it, interpreting that it stated that dissenters incited by PLANS as such primarily were Jewish Waldorf parents, seemingly being one of the sensitivities of Mr Dugan.

Comment:
The posting commented on by Mr Dugan does not describe or imply that critics in general of Waldorf education are "Jewish Waldorf parents", being another smearing untruth by Dan Dugan. 

What it refers to is the completely unfounded anger that is cultivated by PLANS at its site and WC-mailing list in some parents of Jewish origin, as one group of Waldorf parents, some of which, like other Waldorf parents for other reasons, at times on more or less well founded grounds, develop issues with the Waldorf school at which they have their child or children.

It refers to the way those issues, when they at times develop between parents of Jewish origin and Waldorf schools are made especially malicious by PLANS' digging into the mud hole of accusations of anti-Semitism in its campaign against Waldorf education on the Internet.

The posting by the undersigned was an expression of serious concern, not that Waldorf parents at times develop issues with their child's or children's school, but about the malicious way PLANS cultivates and nourishes this criticism in Waldorf parents that are of Jewish origin, by appealing to the feelings connected with the persecutions of Jews in history and with the horrors of the Holocaust, being one of the rhetorical tools used by the moderator of the WC mailing list and webmaster of the site of PLANS in his campaign against Waldorf education.

It is the same type of argumentation referring and appealing to feelings connected with atrocities in the past, that was cultivated and made into a motivating force of the war in the now former Yugoslavia in the 1990s', and the same type of painting the Devil on the wall that now is used mutually by Usama bin Laden and President Bush in the present developing world conflict, slowly increasingly dragging ever more people into mutual terror and fear since November 11.

One may note that Dan Dugan seemingly starts to feel it to be necessary to try to play down this incitement of from anger to rage in the Jewish Community, that he consciously and continously builds at the site of PLANS and on the WC mailing list. In his comment, he tries to reduce it to being the effect of 'a short article' that he himself did not take the initiative to write, but only wrote for the Journal Natural Jewish Parenting some years ago after being asked to do it by its editor.

What he tries to play down is the way he prodly every month on the WC mailing list announces the increasing number of visits to the site of PLANS, where he continously cultivates the 'Protocol of Steiner' mythology in question in the publishing of articles and posting to the WC-list by himself, Mr. Staudenmaier and Mr. Zegers, depicting Rudolf Steiner as a Aryan white supremacist, clearly being aware of the mud hole in which he is digging with this part of his argumentation and anti-Waldorf campaign.

He does not seem equally ready to take the responsibility for the effects of this part of his campaign and instead tries to make the concern expressed in the posting he comments on, about the way he and PLANS dig into the mud hole of accusations for anti-Semitism into another argument in building the 'Protocol of Steiner' mythology in question. In my posting on the private mailing list with no public archives, I among other things wrote:

PLANS to my understanding is used as a tool of forces it does not understand in building a hatred in especially the Jewish community to wage a war against anthroposophy and Waldorf education in a similar way that Usama bin Laden is trying to do in the Islamic world against USA and the West in general. 

"A tool of forces it does not understand" oooh! I get so excited when you talk like Steiner! :) Now we're terrorists. I guess that means we're fair game.

As Mr Dugan seemingly has got the whole posting to the anthroposophical mailing list ARK, that has no public archives, he probably knows, but - seemingly preferring to resort to his usual rhetoric - does not quote the end of the posting he comments on, which says:

As for Dan, Deby and Peter Staudenmaier, I think it should be a long term goal to be able to invite Deby and Danny for a cup of coffee in a coffee shop or soft drink on a nice beach somewhere, the sun shining sweet and warm and the soft breeze blowing in the afternoon :-)

As for PS, maybe I'd prefer to have him at some distance on the beach, doomed to sip on lemon juice without sugar for a year or two and only hard bread for breakfast, supper, dinner and late night meal to consider his misdeeds ...

That suggestion is not taken from the posting by me, that Mr Dugan illegally has hijacked to his own mailing list, but from a posting by someone else on the ARK-mailing list.
